Ride horses on the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean

The Equestrian Center at Sea Horse Ranch offers organized tours on over 7 miles of bridle paths and beaches as well as instruction in riding, dressage, and jumping for advanced riders and novices alike.

Our stable boards are Paso Finos, Tennessee Walkers, quarter horses, and thoroughbreds as well as ponies for the little ones. If you’re interested in riding horses in the Dominican Republic, the Sea Horse Ranch Equestrian Center is the place.

We are a friendly, lively riding school with a wealth of experience in developing the skills of both the capable rider and the enthusiastic novice. Each and every client is treated as an individual and our own special community is enriched by people of all abilities, from all walks of life, with one thing in common – a love of horses and riding.

Each riding lesson is tailored in line with ability, and we cater to all levels from the complete beginner through to the more advanced requiring dressage or jumping tuition.

We also offer horse training and lessons in ‘natural horsemanship’.

One and a half to three-hour riding Hacks

Available on most days bookable in advance. These rides take in the local woods, bridle paths, and beaches that make up the surrounding areas of Sea Horse Ranch and you will always be accompanied by experienced grooms. All levels of rider are catered for; our horses are well schooled and very patient.

Reservations should be made a minimum of 1 day in advance.

Please note as of March 2019 we are not conducting the 3-hour tours until further notice.

One-hour Class Lesson

We offer carefully supervised training in one of our Arenas with one of our instructors, who will offer the ideal opportunity to either learn to ride, get to know your horse better, or hone your skills. Your lesson will include riders of similar ability with similar ambitions but your Instructor will ensure that you receive individual attention. These classes are pre-booked with the office at 809 571 4462 and operate from Monday to Friday

One-hour private or semi-private lesson

Working closely with your instructor, the lesson will be tailored to suit your skills and personal objectives. Recommended for riders wanting to improve their confidence or perfect their technique on a one-to-one basis or share with a friend.

Beginners or novice riders

Your Instructor will ensure that you progress at a speed that is safe and comfortable for you, making this the perfect introduction to horse riding.

Children’s lessons and rides

An easy start for children with supervised instruction allows familiarity with horses, grooming, safety, and their first steps to becoming a competent rider.

Large fields and paddocks for the outside horses to graze
Storage in the livery tack room
Outdoor and indoor riding arena, show jumps, and obstacle course
Full-time experienced grooms
