Sea Horse Ranch Showjumping 2026 Brings International Equestrian Competition to the North Coast
Sea Horse Ranch is set to host the highly anticipated Equestrian Center Showjumping 2026 from May 22–24, bringing together top equestrian talent and highlighting the Dominican Republic’s North Coast as a growing destination for sports tourism.
Held in the beautiful coastal community of Cabarete-Sosúa, the three-day event will feature high-level showjumping competitions with obstacle heights ranging from 80 cm to 120 cm. Riders from around the world will participate, adding an international dimension to the competition.

International Participation
Riders from across the Dominican Republic will be joined by international competitors from Brazil, Puerto Rico, and the United States.
Highlighting the North Coast as a premier sports and tourism destination, the event combines world-class equestrian competition with family-friendly entertainment and community engagement. Organizers aim to further position the Dominican Republic as an emerging hub for equestrian tourism in the Caribbean.
In addition to the sporting events, visitors will enjoy exhibitions, equestrian games, food vendors, artisan markets, and participation from local businesses throughout the weekend.
During the official press conference, Jennifer Kirkman, Director of Sales and Marketing at Sea Horse Ranch, highlighted Sea Horse Ranch’s long-standing commitment to supporting the culture, sports, and community development of the North Coast since the 1990s. She emphasized the importance of initiatives that help strengthen and promote the region as a world-class tourism destination.
Equestrian Center Event Director Diane de Wazières also shared details about the competition schedule and invited both residents and international visitors to attend the event with family and friends. She described the weekend as a unique experience combining adrenaline, elegance, nature, and a shared passion for horses.
The event is officially sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, reinforcing the country’s commitment to supporting tourism and sporting initiatives that contribute to the continued growth of the Dominican Republic as an international destination.
