Hollywood comes to Cabarete, Dominican Republic with actor Vin Diesel filming portions of his new action film in the region of Puerto Plata, on the north coast.
The filming of the movie “XXX: The Return of Xander Cage”, starring Vin Diesel, will begin in mid-March, 2016, in various locations including Cabarete, Puerto Plata, and Salinas BanÃ, and the facilities of Pinewood Studios in Juan Dolio, on the south of the island.
Full production details have not been released, but the first two films in the series had a budget of US $ 70 -$ 80 million dollars.
The full professional cast and crew of hundreds will include Antonio Gennario, the executive of Lantica Media, and filmmaker Humberto Castellanos. Directed by D.J. Caruso, worldwide distribution will be provided by Paramount Pictures.
